Amazon EPR Enforcement: Read the Actual Notice
Use the actual account notice to define the problem. Country, waste stream, evidence type and response deadline matter more than a general statement that every EU listing will be blocked on the same date.
Separate the law from the platform action
Amazon’s public EPR guidance distinguishes country categories and describes possible listing deactivation or compliance on a seller’s behalf. It does not prove that every account receives the same treatment. Save the current policy linked from your notice and the account-specific instructions.
Read the request as a structured record
Record the store, account entity, affected products, stream, requested field, deadline and exact status message. Establish whether the issue is a missing number, mismatched entity, unsupported category or pending validation. If the notification changes, retain both versions and the dates.
Respond with evidence for that country and stream
Match the issuer, legal company and scope on the source document to the requested field. Separate packaging registration from equipment and battery evidence. Keep the submission receipt and follow-up status. A contact with support or an application to a scheme does not itself prove that Amazon has accepted a listing.
Do not infer a blanket rollout from PPWR
The Commission distinguishes the harmonised-register rollout from existing national rules. Read that general framework alongside the relevant country and platform instructions. Where an account notice and a broad article differ, investigate the actual requirement instead of promising either automatic suspension or automatic protection.
